Served on-tap at the H and 11th St. Location of Capitol City Brewing Co. in Washington, DC.

A: Poured into a 10 oz. goblet. The color of thin apple cider with lighter brownish hues under light. No perceivable head.

S: Fairly light, which is surprising considering this is a barleywine. Some fruity sweetness; I detect mostly raisins and figs.

T: Raisins, prunes, figs, and dates are most prominent in this brew but not overwhelming as most barleywines. Some sweet caramel malts are present, rounded out by a strongly phenolic aftertaste.

M: Slightly higher carbonation and thinner consistency than I'm used to in most barleywines.

D: A fairly decent brew, but no J.W. Lees though.
