Pours a finger of light tan head over a hazy light brown liquid. Smells floral hoppy, lightly of brown malt, and a lactose creaminess.
Tastes strongly of earthy hops, with decent malt sweet to support and mild hop bitter. Malt is lightly of chocolate and some graininess. Hop flavor is a 'dirty' noble, like tettnanger. Hop bitter is light and clean of grassiness. There is a sour tang in the finish that just isn't quite right and it turns into a drying astringency that hangs in the aftertaste. The fine sharp carbonation helps clean the palatte and contributes to the unpleasant aftertaste. Light body and drinkability is meh.
