Reviewed from notes taken while visiting Washington DC two weeks ago...sitting at the Capitol City Brewing Company bar on New York Ave NW...I believe this was just released shortly before my visit...listed as a "Brown Ale" on my receipt...
Solid brown color, fair light tan head...
Light roast character, faint caramel sweetness...
Nice medium malt sweetness; fine complimentary bitterness 'tho the malt is predominant...
Medium feel, soft and smooth...
On the edge of being better than average. Just a little short of any real standout notes, but leans towards being malt dominant...
