22 ounce bottle into pint glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours slightly hazy deep orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts the whole glass. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of pineapple, tangerine, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, light honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of pineapple, tangerine, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, tangerine, lemon/orange peel, pine, light honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness and balance of citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately resinous/sticky, and slightly creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 5.3%. Overall this is a very good pale ale. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

A - Pours a clear amber with a sturdy three-finger off-white head. The head dissapates to a one-finger density leaving lots of soapy lacing.

S - Aroma is earthy hops and light tropical fruits.

T - The taste follows the aroma with tropical fruits and earth hops. The finish has some lingering bitterness with a peppery bite.

M - Medium bodied with medium carbonation. The mouthfeel is smooth with a nice dry finish.

O - This is a decent Pale Ale. Easy drinking and enjoyable.

So this is the Abe's (Mosaic) Pale Ale, with the honey malt. I have to say the malt in this gives off a weird aroma so you don't get the hop smell after the pour, however very nice after taste it leaves. All in all a very interesting take on a Pale Ale, would have again.
