A - Pours a dark burnt orange with a large three-finger sturdy white head. The head lingers to a one-finger head leaving tons of heavy lacing.
S - Aroma is caramel malts, grapefruit, orange peel, and earthy hops.
T - The taste starts with a good wash of grapefruit, orange pineapple, and lemon balanced by some light caramel malts. After the initial citrus and malt sweetness there a nice piney hop bitterness. The bitterness lingers through the finish.
M - Medium/light bodied with medium carbonation. The mouthfeel is very smooth with a soft finish.
O - This was a nice IPA. The flavors are nicley balanced. Extremely drinkable.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours fairly crystal clear deep orange/copper color with a 2 finger dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice complexity and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately resinous/sticky, and lightly creamy mouthfeel that nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice single hop IPA. All around great balance, complexity, and robustness of juicy citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.
