Poured from bomber to tulip. Aggressive pour produces a huge amount of head that lasts and lasts. Head is thick and rocky, and dissolves like ice cream in a float. Attractive, sticky rings of lacing are left behind. Settles to a centimeter cap that never leaves. Gorgeous. Color is a ruddy orange with pinkish tint, and an amazing amount of carbonation. Aroma is sweet bubblegum, floral hops and bready malt. There's some bubblegum in the flavor as well, but not too sweet. The flowery hops keep the sweetness subdued and a bitter bite on the end keeps it all in check. Helluva interesting beer. Thought going in it was a gimmick, came out of the experience really loving it.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but was released recently. Pours slightly hazy deep orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big bubblegum, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of juicy citrus/pine hops, bubblegum, and moderate malt sweetness; with great strength. Taste of big bubblegum, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of bubblegum, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange peel, pine, honey, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/pine hops, bubblegum, and moderate malt sweetness; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and lightly creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice novelty IPA! All around great robustness, complexity, and balance of juicy citrus/piney hops, bubblegum, and moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and easy to drink. The bubblegum notes were a bit stronger in the nose than the flavors; but overall really well balanced either way. A very enjoyable offering.

Smells like bubblegum. Nice golden color and if you look closely there is a slight pink tone to it. It's fairly bitter and at the very back end a slight sweetest like gum. My first beer by this brewery and was pleasantly surprised. Can't wait to try the double bubble gum ipa if I can find it.
