Beer 51; batch 1. Unknown vintage; drank 11/8/15 @ the Palace.
Black/brown appearance.
Nice tan head; decent lace.
Strawberry & graham cracker notes in the nose.
Thin mouthfeel.
Strawberry, spring water & wheat flavors up front; cream & a slightly bitter bite on the finish. Oats emerged as this warmed.
Barely a beer at all; decent but slight .

650ml bottle. Served in a snifter glass. Pours a darker cola brown body, one finger white head, short retention, not much lacing. Smells of strawberry cream. Not much else. Lactose sweetness, touch of milk chocolate. Smells sort of like a cheesecake. Flavour is similarly one dimensional, more of the chocolate comes out, a bit less strawberry. It doesn't work all that well, a fairly muddled beer. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied, on the thin end, lower carbonation, nothing much on the finish. An overall strange beer, lots of potential but it could use more body and sweetness to it. Not quite what it could be.
