This beer pours a semi-transparent brown with a tan head that sticks around for a little bit and fizzles down to a ring around my glass. There is a little bit of lacing.
The aroma is slightly malty with some yeasty esters and a touch of citrus.
The flavor has a great malt profile in the beginning and then glides into a more fruity flavor and ends in a nice blend of the two. There are some chocolate notes in between the maltiness and the fruity esters. Nice complexity. I think this is a very refreshing beer and a little more original than the popular Hefe that you would expect to get from most breweries in the summer time.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation.
This is a very drinkable beer and should be a mainstay on their beer list. instead of a specialty brew.
