"Our Irish influenced Red Ale's flavor is derived from the use of six different malts. Caramel and toast notes greet the nose while toffee and roast join the mix of flavors on the palate. English Kent Goldings are used to provide the bittering with just a hint added for flavor. All interplay to create a smooth drinking pint that is beautiful to behold. 26 IBUs, 5.0% Alcohol"

Served on tap at The Hopyard in Pleasanton on 6/22/2011 (going through older notes).
A: Somewhat hazy amber. Medium head that went away pretty quickly, with medium-size bubbles.
S: Hoppyish, caramelish, toffyish; maybe some roasty bitterness and/or smokiness ("standard" red smell); hops probably the most prominent component.
T: Citrus, light roastiness, and caramel.
M: Thin and light. Very drinkable.
O: Decent session beer that stays safely in its category, without being too interesting.

On-tap at the brewhouse. They also sell this beer in bottles.
A: Served a clear caramel brown with a thin light brown collar that left good lacing.
