Apparently this beer is a lot less common than I thought. It will be my 3rd or 4th venture into the world of Indian beers.

It pours an ever-so-hazy amber colour with a nice fluffy head that quickly settles down to a thin layer on top.

The aroma is slightly sweet caramel grain. There is also a faint fruity aspect in the background.

The flavour is smooth and slightly sweet throughout. It's grainy, but not in a bad way, and some nice floral yeasty notes round things out nicely.

Overall, this is the best Indian beer I've had by a long shot! I'd even consider drinking this on a regular basis if the price was right. A very nice refreshing lager with some character.

Indian restaurant, Saturday night, what's a guy to have with his curry?

This beer pours a hazy medium golden hue, with one finger of soapy white head, which leaves some spotty random lace around the glass as it falls away. It smells of breakfast cereal grain, and light weedy hops. The taste is more of the same, some mildly sweet biscuity white grain, and soft hops. The carbonation is moderate, the body decently weighted, fairly smooth, and it finishes off-dry, with a bit of cooked veggies popping up at the end.

An acceptable light lager, especially in its native environment.

Pale gold with fluffy white head. Smell is atypical of a lager. Grassy, a bit of hops, no skunkiness. An interesting fruity scent to it, one I can’t quite place. Almost like cherries.

Taste is not typical lager at all. Grassiness, mild hops and fruit. The fruit flavour is not expected, but is very pleasant. It lends a sweet and sour quality to this lager that is unique and quite enjoyable.

Overall, this is a unique lager that is quite enjoyable and one I will be buying again.
