Appearance of light gold with good cap and lacing.
Aroma of spicy, piney hops and dark sweet malt.
Taste is a pleasant mixture of sharp hops and caramel malt. It's as if they took a richly flavored Oktoberfest and added a whammo hit (60 IBU) of piney hops. I like it. The hops and malt interweave well together in a balancing act that doesn't trip.
Overall this combination works. The brewer's tag lines announce their intention, Anonymous IPA, no name, big taste, and, an IPA by any other name is just pale. Clearly the goal of big flavor was achieved.

Pours a clear, copper color. 3/2 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of resin-y hops, slight citrus hops, slight piney hops, sweet malt, caramel malt, and a hint of yeast. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of caramel malt, sweet malt, resin-y hops, hint of piney hops, hint of citrus hops, hint of alcohol, hint of rye, hint of yeast, and slight earthiness. Overall, complex body and aroma, good appearance, better aroma than body, and the body is lacking in oomph.

Deep copper colored with a fingernail of bright white on top. Moderate lacing. Faint piney hop presence is difficult to discern. The hop presence is much more prominent when I taste it. It is still piney or ward but there is a dark malt to coppery flavor. The mouth is fairly light and smooth.

Bottle aged, which definitely leaves a mouth feel. Very bright, little bit skunky, not much back feel as is head taste dominate. Pretty dece.

Pours a hazy amber with 1 finger head. Smells of sweet malt and minor earthiness. Tastes of tea leaf and bubblegum. Finishes a touch bitter. Great mouthfeel. Little lacing. Would buy again.
