Served in a standard pint, the beer is a clear bright brownish red with a tight white head. Good lacing.
Slightly nutty nose with a bit of earth and caramel.
The taste is sweet, a little nutty and just a bit of citrus fueled bitterness late. Underpining of fruit.
The mouth feels slightly brittle which also cuts a bit into drinkablity. This is a pretty decent Newcastle clone.
