As with all beers at this brewpub, the beer is served in a standard pint. The beer is a dark garnet with a smallish beige head.
Targeted for the Leines Red drinkers, the beer has an aroma of malts with a hint of caramel. Needs to be amped-up a notch.
The taste is slightly sweet with more light caramel notes and a backend of grain. Needs a bit more of everything to move up the scale.
The mouth is a shade above medium with some pleasant thickness.
Drinkability is a bit tougher, for this brewpub its good, for anywhere else its average.

this one gets a good head considering the growler, cream colored, fades quick. deep amber, red, caramel.
aromas are sour, malty, a little tannin quality as well.
the flavors are majorly malty, slightly bitter finish. flavors of grape, pear, a little alcohol in the end.
creamy, but very dry, texture.
not too bad, but really dry and bitter. I believe its soul is undeveloped but has potential.
