The brewer's web site states that his beer was brewed using aroma hops according to the czech pilsner method with spring water from the Kitayama mtn. range.
The beer has a suprisingly huge pepper aroma. Unfortunately that pepperyness doesnt stop at just the nose, it hits you like a bullet on first sip. The beer is lacking an malt flavor or bitterness to speak of to balance out this pepperyness and has an abundance of yeastyness. This beer is out of wack and I will pass on a 2nd glass of this.
