Pours an almost opaque hazy yellow-amber, with a thick soapy white head, which dissipated to the merest fringe.
Quite an interesting aroma, with banana, and spiciness. I was expecting cloves, but got white pepper instead. Interesting. Also, the faintest touch of citrus -- grapefruit I think.
Banana on the first sip, with the white pepper continuing throughout. Not as interesting as the aroma, but tasty.
Stays quite light on the palate, and quite easy to drink.
Quite nice, with a decent amount of complexity. Not as refreshing as I'd like for the style, but a very pleasant beer.
