Comes in a short-necked brown half liter bottle with a yellow label with a banner across the middle bearing the name, just under a sailing ship inside a spoked ship's wheel. Back label explains that the brew is bottle fermented and contains sugar as an ingredient. Best before 9/12/05, I opened it on 5/13/05.
Pours a very cloudy greenish gold under a thin 1/2 finger white heqd that fades immediately to film and collar, which then last quite a while and even leave a bit of lace. There's lots of sediment here, including a few big white chunks of something. Very murky indeed, the brew thins a bit at the top as light casts through the fog. The nose is pungent with apple and bad watermelon. The mouth is moderately carbonated and quite light. This tastes like it could be a cider, with its strong sweet apple flavors. There's a bit of malt here, but no discernible hops. The aftertaste is crisp and fruity. This is not good beer, but it is a rather drinkable concoction of something or other.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
