Gravity halfpint at the London Drinker festival. According to the program, this beer is named after the drummer of The Stranglers, and has had port added to it.

A: Clear garnet body with orange around the edges; frothy tan head. Ok retention and lacing. Solid.

S: Sweet, fruity, chocolatey. Like a fig-filled chocolate truffle. Nice.

T: Follows the nose - very sweet, a little jammy (presumably from the port), a little chocolatey. Raw chocolate malt asserts itself on the finish. A little blatant, but pleasant all the same.

M: Lively, soft medium body. Excellent.

O: I really enjoyed the deep fruitiness that the port wine gave to this beer, but sadly the base beer didn't have much character of its own. Still, it was quite pleasant to drink overall.

Cheers!
