Tasted as part of a flight of Oliver Brews. Pours a slightly hazy light amber color with a modest head that soon reduces to a thin layer. Light citrus scent in the nose. The taste follows the nose, with strong notes of Mango (i think).

206 IPA from Oliver Brewing in Baltimore (nee Pratt St. Ale House) is a fairly standard American IPA. At 7%, it might miss qualifying as a session IPA, but overall, it's decent. Hoppy where it needs to be and with a nice malt presence, it's a beer that will accompany a variety of foods, but you can't go wrong with it by itself, either.

Pale Amber (9 minus) draft pour at Brewery/pub, with a foamy white head that stuck around. Skunky, earthy hop nose. Bitter with little citrus/lemon flavor. Medium light, dry and crisp mouthfeel; moderate minus carbonation. Overall ok.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has an orange color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of pine, light herbal notes. Taste is dank, resin, some pine, just a touch unbalanced, considerable bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy amber, with a three finger head, the head holds it shape and leaves a few strands around
Smell: Grapefruit and pith, with a hint of biscuity malt
Taste: Biscuity malt lays down an underpinning that is just slightly detectable as the grapefruit pith builds dramatically through the middle; aspirin-like bitterness overwhelms the finish, however
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A decent, west coast IPA, but I never like the flavor of aspirin that I find in this beer
