On cask at Max's today.
The beer pours a solid gold color with very good head retention, but minimal lacing. Don't get a lot on the nose, just some light sweet malt and white pepper. Considering the abv. in this beer, I must say it has an impressive amount of flavor. Mouthfeel is pretty light, as one would expect, but the light sweet malt is countered very nicely and impressively by a considerable amount of hoppy bitterness. Flavors linger on the palate, which again is pretty impressive in such a low alcohol beer. Drinkability is good, and this is truly the sort of beer you could drink all afternoon long... and given the quality and amount of flavor, might even want to. Not bad at all.
