On tap at Max's today.

The beer pours a prototypical amber color with pretty good head retention and lacing. The nose is attractive, showing tobacco and pepper. While the beer comes across as nothing all that special on the nose, it's really delicious on the palate. The beer comes across as a moderately sweet amber, but with an impressive amount of hoppy bitterness in the finish that is great. The beer has something of a tropical fruit flavor, with some cherry cough crop, but then with a considerable amount of bitterness in the finish, that helps to balance the sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and drinkability is pretty good.

Very, very nice....
