Served in a conical shaped pint glass at Birreria Paradiso (DC-Georgetown). This version of Ironman was dry hopped with Citra hops.
A - Semi-opaque dark orange body, little white bubbly head; didn't hold well; barely any lacing formed; visible sediment; cask served, not carbonated; served in a conical shaped pint glass, should have been in a snifter
S - Citrus; citra hops; lemon orange; biscuit malt scents; slight hint of pine; roasted malt scents; grainy/wheat; slight soap/rinse smell
T - Tangy pine and hop taste; sweet touch of citrus flavor at the beginning of the sip; biscuit and roasted malt taste on the back-end; caramel finish; astringent soapy taste
M - A bit watery and a served a little cool for a cask; flat; tangy
bite of hops on the sides of the tongue; slightly astringent and deep hop flavor during retro-olfaction (mucus)
D - Love it out a cask, great flavor and taste; I enjoyed immensely; I could have this all day

Pours a light copper with a slight off white head. Good lacing as it moves down. Smell is sweet malt and some fruits; hops not terribly present in the nose. Taste is more hoppy with some sweet bitterness. Fruity esters. Mouthfeel is light wig fairly high carbonation for a cask. Smooth. Drinkability is nice and refreshing.
