Served on tap at Big Hunt Dupont
A: A hazy. Orange amber with a finger thick white retention head.
S: Not impressed in terms of scent profile. This is a very weak aromatic Pumpkin Ale. Light roasted pumpkin subtle clove and nutmeg. A sweat hoppy backbone is present as well low to mid 40 IBU.
T: Same as the aromatics. This is a very subtle tasting Pumpkin Ale. Very remi to Dogfish Head Pumpkin Ale but with a nicer spicer finish. This is a very drinkable Pumpkin Ale not over powering in terms of sweetness or spice but hey that is what I like in Pumpkin Ales. But I will give this beer this, it had one of the best lingering spice profiles that I have ever had! I mean this one kept going and going. Nice clove and nutmeg pairing. Very impressive.
M: Nice medium carbonation. Nice and refreshing. Slight creaminess with a tight lager feel.
O: Not going to buy this again if there is another Imperial Pumpkin Ale on tap but I would recommend giving it a try just to experience its amazing spice box finish that was the beers saving grace.

A - The beer was served with an orange kissed, bronze colored body...the head was about 1.5 fingers and was a dusty brown...decent retention and lacing
S - You can pick up the pumpkin pie spices but they aren't overwhelming...cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and just a hint of roasted pumpkin
T - The flavors were rather light on the palate, just as the aroma was light...subtle hints of the pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove)...the roasted pumpkin flavor wasn't as present as it was in the aroma...but I'd rahter have the spice flavor...rounded out with a subtle, earthy hop presence
M - Medium bodied...creamy...the spices were light but they still lingered nicely
D - I was glad to see this one wasn't overly spiced like some pumpkin ales...but I think just a little more spice flavor could have been added...I understand this was the first time for a pumpkin ale from Oliver's but I'm thinking it turned out nicely...and I love the name Nightmare on Pratt Street
