A: The beer is very dark brownish amber in color. It poured with a finger high beige head that slowly faded away and left some lacing on the surface and a thick ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: There are moderately strong aromas of smoke and spices in the nose.
T: The taste is quite nutty is similar to the smell with flavors of smoke and spices.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit watery on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The beer isn’t that difficult to drink if you can handle the smoky and spicy flavors in the taste.

Poured out of the cask at Meridian Pint DC into a shaker pint glass, served a little cold.

No head given, but very big shampoo like bubbles that are barely tan colored. Classic dark walnut body that is black BLACK as night, with some nice red hues on the bottom. This really resembles a pot of coffee. No lacing at all.

Bouquet is tobacco at first, mostly mild cigarettes, and almost tolerable ashtray feeling. It's actually a nice smoke smelling, and the smoke sensation comes through a little.

Taste is at first a chewy nut, but also some milk jerky meats and smoke but very mild and tolerable. A great finish of dark spices mostly cumin and possibly some other dry brown spice as well.

This is essentially rauchbier light, with a great dry spicy finish and easy drinking. Kind of fun too I must admit and quite unique.
