Enjoyed this brew poured from cask at Max's Tap House in Fell's Point Baltimore.
This beer poured dark with nice head like any well crafted stout. Smell of roast, chocolate and some sweetness and malt as well.
Taste was very balanced, light and enjoyable with some hints of the roast but not burnt, slight sweetness and the malt flavorings also came through. Very mild hop presence in this one.
Poured from cask and served at nearly room temperature which was very pleasantly served.
Overall - a very well crafted and easily drinkable Victorian/English style stout.
