11th May 2012 saw me on a mini pub crawl of Wellington: my local Wetherspoons had this on hand pull, so I had a pint.
Golden, with an orange hue to it: on top an off-white covering of bubbles that tried to stay the distance.
Hoppy nose: floral more than citrus, with a lightly toasted biscuit sweetness in there too.
The taste was a pleasant blend of flavours: hops and light maltiness joining to give an easy drinking semi-sweet/semi-bitter beer. Nothing to make it stand out, equally nothing wrong with it either.
The 4.9% ABV doesn't appear in the taste and it feels more like a 3.9% ABV beer.
