Copenhagen 21/5 2023. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Light green version of Fur’s usual design.
Pours slightly unclear amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet malty odor with lighter citric and floral notes. Weird whiff of rancid butter. Pale malts, citrus and roses. Butter and sourish grains.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit rich in the Diacetyl department.
