FUR TRIPEL ALE is a flavorful Belgian Strong Ale with American hops. Enjoy it – it deserves it!
It will develop beautifully for many years, and a slight, natural sediment may occur over time.

Copenhagen 3/7 2020. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled torv, Kbh. Ø. Dark blue version of Fur's usual labeldesign with a fossil of a moth-like insect. Seems to be a 15 year anniversary beer.
Pours unclear, light amber with a small white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a floral, slightly spicy odor and some booziness peeking in. Mustard, honey, sweet apples. Sour-ish grains. Hints of metallic alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sour-ash bitterness. Aftertaste sour-is with a herbal touch. Finish is semi-dry and a bit boozy.
A bit harsh and overly boozy. Not the perfect emulation of a Belgian triple.
