Strong and warm taste of dark malt with the full harmonious finish of the hops. FUR Steam Beer is brewed with 3 different malt types, one of which is a caramel malt. FUR STEAM BEER is inspired by the American steam beer, where the wort ferments at up to 20 degrees.

Copenhagen 22/5 2018. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Reddish label with a Steam Locomotive.
Pours clear red tinged amber with dense yellowish head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is malty sweet with an Boozy edge. Sweet caramel, light roastiness, wood with light metallic notes.
Light carbonation and medium thick texture.
Flavor is sweet malts followed by moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet caramel. Lingering.
A tad too sweet for me. But not unpleasant and hides it's fairly high ABV quite well.
