Dark amber beer with a cream-colored head. The beer smells of roasted malt, vanilla and licorice.

Copenhagen 24/9 2015. 50 cl bottle from Kvikly. Another item in the "Molermand" series, why this sorry creature is on the label.
Pours clear dark reddish brown with a small off-white head. A bit bubbly. Disappears fairly quickly. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is of dark roasted malts, caramel and sugar. A sweet bonanza.
Medium strong carbonation and a watery palate.
Flavor is sweet and dominated by caramel and toffee. Mild bitterness in aftertaste combined with the lingering sweetness. Something burnt in the finish.
Decent brown ale although a bit heavy on the sweet side.
