FUR Lager is a bottom-fermented beer of the Lager type.
Calm and clear beer with a deep reddish-golden amber color. Small bubbles with dense cream-colored foam with a long shelf life that gives fine lace on the glass.
Fruity aroma with a fresh tone of flowers.
Fresh, round and with a characterful, well-balanced malty taste.
Central European-inspired Lager brewed with three different types of malt - including chocolate malt - as well as bitter hops and aroma hops, which are added four times.

Copenhagen 7/11 2016. 50 cl bottle from Netto. Red tinted label with a advertisement for Aalbæk sausages (their smoky salami should go well with a Fur Lager).
Pours hazy golden - almost orange - yellow with a white head. Settles as a thin almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Almost no lacing.
Aroma is malty with hints of caramel and some sharp sour notes. Sweet caramel and biscuits. Sour grains.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Gently tingling texture.
Flavor has a light caramel sweetness followed by a salty bitterness. Bitter aftertaste.
I imagine that this one actually would fit nicely with a slice of Schwarz Brot and a smoky, salty salami. Not especially sophisticated - but with a nice bitter edge.
