Copenhagen 19/8 2015. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly. Picture of a statue of old farmer on the label. I assume it's the infamous "Molerman" statue made in clay by Erik Pedersen.
Pours clear amber with a yellowish head. Stable. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is pretty subdued for an IPA. Some citrus sourness and some metallic alcohol. Whiff of caramel and malts.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is distinctly bitter with a sourish tang. Some notes of alcohol. Very dry finish.
Pretty one-dimensional on the bitter side. The infamous Molerman must be a sad and sour old grumpy guy.
