Since 2018, our rhubarb stout Chez Suzanne has teamed up with strawberries to better invoke the flavours of the celebrated pie! Explosive strawberry aromas are well supported by the acidity of the rhubarb and earthy notes combine well with the malty, chocolatey base beer.

Fruity stout of rhubarb and raspberry, but taste like any regular stout with strong coffee, chocolate flavors. The taste is good but I was expecting more fruity flavors.

Draft: Poured a dark black color stout with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of light smokey notes and roasted malt with clear notes of rhubarb. Taste is also dominated by clearly vegetable notes of rhubarb and some roasted malt with a dry finish. Body is about average with great carbonation. Interesting novelty but not sure I would seek this on a regular basis.
