On tap at Dieu de Ciel. Served in a Teku. Smoked pale ale, which I ordered without really reading the menu fully. Not something I would have picked, if I'm honest.
Appearance - Hazy orange. Nice white head.
Smell - Meaty smokiness. Light orange hoppiness, but mostly smoke.
Taste - Sweet pale malt. Orange hops. Smoke builds, as does a grapefruit bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium light. A little creamy. Low carbonation.
Overall - I didn't expect a smoked pale ale to be so good, but this is phenomenal.
