Brimming with resin and mandarin, the Ultra Mosaika reveals Mosaic hops in all their aromatic complexity. The beer’s fruity aromas blend nicely with its herbaceous and sprucy notes.

Single picked up in Jasper, Alberta. Pours a slightly hazy pale golden with puffy white head. Aroma is hoppy spruce but then prominent grapefruit. Taste is bright hoppy citrus, some pine, and significant bubbly feel from the carbonation. Bitterness lingers. Another really good beer from Dieu du Ciel.

On tap at Beavertown Extravaganza. Aroma has grainy malts and grassy hops. Taste has generic hops with a medium bitterness on a grainy malt base. Quite classic but well made.

Mosaic hops have such a distinct character and smell, it's always a treat to have it on its own. The pungent hop aromas may turn some off. The taste is smooth and crisp. The 5.4% ABV is perfect considering the higher IBUs.
Bottled from the micro-brewery in Saint Jerome.

A-Hazy yellow with a white head that lingers. Some lacing apparent
S-Big punch of mosaic hop aroma with mandarine and lemon and bitter citrus
M-Mouthfeel is spicy and somewhat picante on the tongue
T-Nice smooth bitterness to complement a subtle sweetness at the front, with a balanced citrus sweet follow up and aftertaste.
O-Delisious beer, nice exhibition of the Mosaic hop. Bottled August 8, drank August 26.
