From a 341mL bottle, dated 2022-10-05. Caisse mixte hivernale contenant quatre bières de la gamme réserve. Served in a cervoise.
Pours a moderately hazy brown-gold with a scant finger of fizzy head. Retention is unremarkable, leaving a wispy cap, narrow, foamy collar and a barely rousable sheet of slippery lacing.
Nose is as advertised: brett, oak and apricot. Sharp and inviting.
Taste is utterly in line with the nose, saving me the trouble of thinking of a lot of new words to write. The Sauvignon, oak and brett merge together nicely, accompanied by a fruity top-note of green apple, apricot and pear. Ends with a smidge of spicy booziness in the sinuses.
Feel is malty-smooth, medium-plus bodied lightened by ample fine, tingly carbonation and an oaky, powder-dry tannic finish.
Overall, a unique and very drinkable, fruit and barrel-forward sipper. A fortuitous blending of complementary flavours into a satisfying whole. In the end, not entirely unlike having consumed some sort of fortified white wine, both in the aftertaste and the ensuing boozy warmth in the gullet.

Bottle: Poured a hazy bright yellow color ale with a large size white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of Brett notes with some tart notes as well as some vinous notes that are also noticeable. Taste is a mix of Brett notes with some light sweet malt with some vinous notes and some light oak flavours with tart finish. Body is full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Enjoyable beer but the Sauvignon barrel notes have pushed this beer into sour country more than Tripel.

Bottled: Jul-3-2018 (Consumed Nov-16-2018)
A:
Pours a golden-orange, hazy, three fingers of creamy beige head that drops to a fat film. Decent retention; confetti lacing. (4)
S:
Under-ripe apricots, tart green grapes, hay, light barnyard funk. (4.25)
T:
Rollercoaster of complex flavor. Tart apricots, leaves, faint oak-ey earthiness, tart juicy green grapes cascading into a nice earthy finish from the barrel. (4.5)
M:
Really rich and smooth with the faintest wisp of pleasant warmth. Otherwise extremely drinkable with a nice wine barrel finish. (4.25)
O:
Very, very nice fruit tripel.
Fruit comes through insanely well and is nicely complimented by the choice of sauvignon barrels. It almost seems like three beers in one but they are all as complimentary and well-balanced as could be. Rich, clean, juicy apricot; a solid, boozy-but-super-drinkable tripel; and a light tart twang that bridges the other two. The barrel brings a nice earthy Brett character as well as a little white wine and oak that accentuates the rest. I prefer this one to the non-BA which is always a good sign. (4.5)

A gift from a band mate of a Montreal friend.
Brewery only release.
Moderate pour yields a one inch creamy white head over a slightly hazy golden body with thick creamy lacing. Nose of apricot, Sauvignon blanc grapes, and slight funk. Taste of said fruit and finishing dry, wine-like, and so very nice. As it warms, some slight sweet candied fruit aspect comes forward in the flavor balancing the dryness wonderfully. Feel is adequate for the style and overall I think the SB wine barrel treatment works wonders with this tripel and I feel pretty blessed for this opportunity! Just, wow!
