Appearance: Reddish amber, with a thin film of head that had decent adherence to the glass.
Smell: Peppery pine needles very assertive at first, only to be slowly replaced by a honeycomb sweet hop that was quite pleasing. By the smell, I don't think he used spruce extract, the brewers must know a guy in the woods or something.
Taste: Not withstanding the carbonation on the mid to lower range and really solid backbone (something you don't often see in these hybrid/fruit/herbal Beers), it tasted like the classic Québec spruce Beers I used to find in every other convenience store as a child. Not that I've ever been the biggest fan of those, but it's a nice novelty Beer that's pretty close to the Tordeuse Beer they put out last year at the Mondial.
