Bottle: Poured a deep amber color ale with an off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt with some residual sugar notes with light vinous notes also perceptible. Taste is a great mix of caramelized malt with some balanced residual sugar notes, light dry fruits with a vinous finish with light oak presence. Body is full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very enjoyable and I liked the fact that the wine barrel cut through some of the residual sugar notes.
