Bottle: Poured a clear yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of hoppy floral undertones with light mango notes. Taste is dominated by hoppy floral undertones with some light mango notes with light residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but I was expecting a bit more hops flavours.

A:
Hazy goldenrod with a skiff of white head. Okay retention, droopy lacing. (3.75)
S:
Light tropical fruits, candied orange, dirty dishrag (it's been a while since I got that from mosaic). (3.75)
T:
Crisp bitter slap. Some doughy fruitiness on the finish. (3.75)
M:
Crisp with zesty carbonation, fairly drinkable, coating hop oil. (3.75)
O:
A decent overall beer.
This is a pretty standard looking new-er-school-ipa-that-is-not-a-NEIPA. It looks smells, tastes and is pretty good. Lightly fruity aroma and flavor from hops with more bitterness (but a measured one) in the flavor than I expected based on the nose. A quenching and drinkable beer, with light fruit, biscuit, and a pine-pollen bitterness. All it is missing in my mind is a little pop somewhere to put it over the top and if the bitterness had a little more color/depth to it I would have no problem having this beer again. A solid, tasty beer from DDC as per usual. (3.75)
