Had this on tap at Vices & Versa while on vacation in Montreal with fellow beer drinker JLindros. Marketed as a "Cream IPA". Poured into a pint glass
A - Poured into a pint glass a clear amber hue with a thick one finger creamy head, all thanks to nitro. Head really hung around and layered down the glass. Again, to be expected.
S - Aromas of sweeter malts, faint lactose, caramel. Faint bitter hops. Hops are incredibly mild here.
T - Taste is lightly bitter, malt sweetness, soft caramel, earthy hops, faint spice. Not bad, just, kind of underwhelming. Like a watered down blending of two styles.
M - Mouthfeel is creamy, lightly refreshing. Definite nitro here.
O - Overall this beer was alright, not quite as creamy as I'd hoped. Really just a nitro ipa with a touch of lactose. Shocked this was from Dieu Du Ciel.

On cask during Cask Days 2013.
Beer is reddish brown, with a small off-white head.
Nose contains pine and damp weedy scents. Some muted citrus. Bready malt. A bit of a creamy scent.
Taste is fairly bitter, with the same damp pine and weed flavours. Strong malt component, bready and a touch spicy.
Medium bodied, moderately carbonated.
Overall, disappointing. I had been wanting to try this beer and had some high hopes. As it is typically served on nitro, maybe cask is just the wrong treatment for it. This was not bad, but a let down.

On nitro-tap @ Dieu Du Ciel in Montreal, Quebec on 5/30/2013.
This was the first beer I had on my trip to Montreal and quite possibly the best.
Described as an India Cream Ale, the nitro pour is what really took this beer to another level. Amber in color with a thick, creamy off-white head that lasted throughout the whole beer but not much lacing. Light to medium floral hop aroma, nothing overpowering. Excellent mouthfeel, very creamy, seemed to coat the whole tongue and extremely drinkable.
This was a really enjoyable beer enjoyed in a really enjoyable setting. More cream ale than IPA but it works. Highly recommended.

Tap: Poured a creamy golden color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and bitter hoppy notes with semi-sweet malt notes. Taste is dominated by creamy citrus and bitter hoppy notes with a relatively dry finish. Body has a nice creamy touch to it which differentiates it from the other IPA out there. Interesting take on the style.
