On cask with extra centennial hops. This came across very nicely, the dry hopping providing a great nose and enjoyable flavour. I had been looking to try this one for awhile, and was not thrilled that cask would be the treatment when I finally encountered it - but it worked very well.

A hazy cooper with medium creamy head that leaves spotty lacing
Aroma's of floral, fruity and citrus hops with roasted malts presence
The taste has upfront roasted malts, bitterness from the hops and an earthy hop presence. It has a good balance of malt and hops, a little on the sweet side.
Medium bodied with good carbonation
Overall well balanced APA- nice hop combination for this beer very enjoyable!!!

On tap at the brewpub, poured into imperial pint glass. Listed as a india cream ale. Creamy mouthfeel, i assume a nitro pour. Bitterness is english in nature, i suppose that goes along with the cream ale style. Frothy light beige head, high retention, sticky lacing. Nice, fresh grassy hop aroma, light malt sweetness. Biscuity and mild bitterness in taste, easy and refreshing to drink.

Bottle from ZorPrime, 341ml into a tulip. Dated November 2010, thanks Eric!
Pours an orange brown, with a couple fingers of dense white head. Good lace, with minimal retention. Nose is dominated by caramel and some faded hops, remnants of which suggest some grapefruit and orange. Also some caramel and general bread. Taste is moderately bitter initially, with some citrus - lemon and grapefruit. A hint of some berries which is interesting, and some milder dark tea notes. Bread again, and less caramel than the nose. Lighter medium mouthfeel, and the slightest hint of alcohol. Higher carbonation than I'd prefer, but decent overall. Although I'm assuming this was a one shot deal, I'd be curious to try this fresh.

Beer color is copper and slightly hazy (I.e., veiled). The head is sticky and soapy looking. Aroma is light in intensity. Slightly fruity. Nothing out of this world, however good. Taste wise, it is fruity, citrusy. Notice some honey in the taste. Finish is better and dry. Medium body. Taste linger a little in the mouth.
Overall this is a nice pale ale. Delicious, refreshing and easy to drink. A nice session beer. It is also, IMO better than their paienne beer.
A good beer.

Bottle dated November '10. Picked up in Montreal.
Thick, lingering white head with some nice lacing. Dark blonde "Extra Pale Ale". Cool artwork..sexy ginger with a city skyline and and mind control device of some sort..broadcasting, "drink me, drink me.."
Mild sweet citrus aroma, caramel malts.
Taste is slightly on the bitter side and I was expecting something a little hoppier from DDC. Nice carbonation and overall mouthfeel.
Not at all a bad beer but not a great beer like many others from DDC.

Bottle from Freund. Things I liked: the label, the looks (unfiltered light orange body with good sized head). This beer is at the end of its shelf life, a little bitterness, an above average mouthfeel, but was expecting it to be hoppier and more citrus. Also expecting hop aroma.

taste is nice. light caramel. orange peel and grapefruit. floral and slightly herbal. whole wheat bread and cracker. light alcohol. low bitterness level.

Served in a chilled glass
Appearance - beer pours a hazy ale colour with a decent amount of carbonation. the beer has an off-white head, that dissipates quickly. there is a decent amount of lacing.
Smell - i can smell some hops, some earthy tones, little sweetness from caramel. there might be a bit of an orange/zesty citrus smell too.
Taste - i can taste the hops along with the earthy tones. there isn't much of a "lasting" taste, kind of comes and goes. there is not much caramel or sweetness. the citrus comes through at the end.
Mouthfeel - the added carbonation brings a little more bitterness and good mouth volume forward. I enjoyed this beer a lot more during the mouthfeel.
Drinkability - this is an ok beer, didnt pack a lot of punch. overall, was refreshing.

12oz Bottle
Appearance - The beer pours a hazy amber colour with a very large frothy white coloured head. There is a low amount of carbonation showing and there is some very nice lacing running in stages down the sides of the glass. The head lasted for several minutes before it began to dissipate.
Smell - hops, caramel, malts, citrus
Taste & Mouth - The beer actually has quite a bit of carbonation which is surprising considering its appearance. Most of the taste consists of hops, caramel, and lemons. There are also notes of pine and a honey sweetness. I also picked up on some fruit esters. The beer finishes with a bitter hop aftertaste.
Drink - Another fantastic DDC beer that I'm happy I tried. They should make this a regular beer in their rotation.

A-some sort of Copper amber. Very loose, sticky, bubbly head. Lots of clumpy lacing.
S- honey, floral and lots of alcohol especially considering its only 5.5
T- reminds me of a great quality mccoy honey pale ale. No dirty macro taste here. Very floral and citrusy hoppiness. a nice sweetness and plenty of smooth bitterness to counter. Isn't this too hoppy to be an extra pale ale.
M- Medium mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Good.
D- Very good. Bomber material.
Surprisingly good. Not what I expected when seeing extra pale ale but still a winner. Would enjoy trying it on tap at the brewpub.

12 oz bottle, big thanks to grub for sharing.
Pours a hazy orange/amber, pretty bright, medium head forms and settles do a medium sized ring and layer around the glass, some lace spots stick, looks nice.
Smell is neat, big orange aroma, some tangerine, a bit of caramel and floral, real nice citrus notes, a bit of honey, some biscuit and cracker with some light toast, light perfume, real nice pale ale.
Taste is nice too, lots of biscuity malt, some cracker and toast, orange peel, a bit of floral, tangerine, a bit of honey and caramel sweetness, a bit of spicy and herbal bitterness in the finish, really neat.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with low carbonation. Pretty neat pale ale, solid citrus hoppiness. Thanks Russ!

Thanks papat444 for this little gem! No date on the bottle.
The beer pours a clear deep amber to orange-red with a nice head that descends to nothing without lace... Aromas are ridiculously interesting with a sweet and heavily malty nose with caramel and burnt sugar. My first thought was: "Barley Wine?". The taste is equally thick and complex. There is a nice earthy and deep hop character that hits you that covers up most of the malt base. The caramel comes through and they play very well against each other. Thick in the mouth it is enjoyable, thought a little too thick stylistically for me, though the carbonation helps clear it a bit.
An excellent beer.
