On cask at brewery. Near black with 1” tan cap. Good lacing and very fine, consistent lacing. Nose is light char, tobacco, molasses, roasted malt. Taste follows, with leathery sweet and charred malt notes. Feel soft and creamy with the lightest touch of effervescence. A really good dry stout.

Had on cask. Black body, giant oatmeal colored head with lazy lacing. Smells roasty and earthy, dark chocolate and whisper of new leather. Classic English stout trappings added to what the nose has for the taste. Feel is dry, roasty, yet smooth and quenching.
