The color is dark, dirty amber; close to light brown. Small but solid head. Leaves ring lace with some streaks.

Light caramel to an otherwise nondescript aroma. There's a touch sweet flowers (but not from any hop!) like hibiscus or rose. A bit unusual for the style.

Starts like a blonde ale but soon succumbs to a darker, dry malt and a bitter hop. Dry finish that lingers lightly for a long time. Rich body with a normal level of carbonation.

Poured from cask into pint at the Brewpub in Montreal. Pours a creamy brown amber with thick white creamy head. Smells of sweet malts and a small bit of fruit. Taste is very similar to aroma...sweet and malty but crisp and a bit of fruity hop. Very drinkable and smooth. Low ABV and very easy to drink, plus its tastey. Nice afternoon brew :)

A: Nice golden color with a HUGE pure white head, which was quite surprising for a cask beer with full on lacing. Super good looking.

S: It was pretty sweet with a very nice green apple like characteristics, a bit like cider (even light tartness and a tiny bit vinegar but in the good way). Light malty smell with brown sugar, honey and sweet floral notes. Nice grass like hops. Very typical British beer smell.

T: It followed the smell very well. Slightly acidic with the green apple notes. But it was all about sweet malts perfectly balanced with the right amount of grassy hops. The overall thing was soo drinkable, I finally understood the true meaning of "session beer". Amazing.

M: It was a cask beer, so not much carbonation. But I expected a bit more body and this was quite watery, but not too bad.

O: One of my all time favorite beer, I'm happy to know they usually have it on cask since it's a spectacular beer that is usually overlooked by the general crowd because they might think low ABV=less interesting.
