Cask at Dieu du Ciel. Served in a half pint glass.
Appearance - Mostly clewr orange. Big creamy white head. Some lacing. Thick collar and decent retention.
Smell - Grapefruit and pine. Slightly musty. Toasty malt.
Taste - Much more grapefruity. Sweet malts. Toastier in the back. Grassy hops build up and lend a strong bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Creamy. Low carbonation (duh). Bitter.
Overall - Tasty pale. Listed as an IPA on the board at the brewery. I can see either category.

Beer is amber with a small white head. Lots of lacing. Dissipates to a film quite quickly.
Smell is of damp hops and muted citrus notes.
Taste is somewhat soapy, grapefruit flavours, fairly bitter. Some light caramel malt in the background but generally hop focused.
Moderate carbonation, almost high, with a medium body. Oily.
Overall, decent but not great.

Bang on pale ale, enjoyed on tap at DDC. Smooth orange citrus, a little grapefruit. Medium brown coloured body with lots of lace. Neutral aroma. Very good drinkability. Good malting A bit above Medium mouthfeel, very smooth. Second of five very good beers had today here.
