Gyle # SS130505

Appearance: amberish-brown, good clarity, just a few suds on a hard pour

Aroma: angel foodcake, hint of butterscotch, English hops, hint of mustiness

Flavor: mild sweetness and a biscuity maltiness, "raw artichoke" hop flavor with an edge of pine, light fruitiness, hint of caramel, finishes semi-dry with a mild bitterness and malty/hoppy aftertaste

Mouthfeel: medium-light body, very low carbonation, soft texture

Other comments: Carbonation was pretty low for a bottled beer, but I think it was quite young in the bottle (i.e.- hadn't had enough time to bottle-condition). Can't complain about that though! Very fresh. Good beer.
