Enjoyed at the brewpub.
Black with a dense brown cap that showed excellent head retention and produced a bit of lacing. Super chocolatey aroma, light roast, caramel and toffee, lactose, grassy, with tons of cereal character. Moderate bitterness with the same characters as in the aroma. Medium bodied with low carbonation, very smooth and silky in texture. This was quite good and highly drinkable.

Muesli is an oatmeal stout offered by L'Amere a Boire in Montreal. The pour is as black as expected with a tight beige head taht sticks around. Smooth, malty and slightly sweet grain aroma. Lots of smooth grain in the taste, with notes of chocolate and fruit. Excedingly smooth creamy and well-balanced, this is not a style I thought would be so well-done by an establishment renowned for its lager style beers. One of the better stouts I have come across, and it holds up well to St. Ambroise.
