A - poured with one finger of white foam on a clear, amber brown body. The head settles quickly but leaves nice lace.
S - lots of nutmeg and allspice with a hint of squash and caramel.
T - light, slightly toasty malt up front. The spices come out in the middle with lots of clove and nutmeg. Finishes with dry toast and a little but of spicy hop character.
M - medium light body, moderate carbonation, and a dry finish.
D - lots of spice character but without the cloying sweetness that is all too common in this style. Surprisingly good.
