Bitter De Sergeant

I think that the cask was bad/turned when I sampled this, but I can't be sure, so here is my review anyway (subject to change). This brew was a flat brown colour with no head to speak of. The aromas were of slightly citric hops and light bready malts, as well as wet cardboard and metal. The taste was light and hoppy with a bad cardboard-like taste in the middle and a nast metallic finish. The mouthfeel was super light and watery and the drinkability was not the best (although it was still qutie good due to the watery mouthfeel this brew had) Going by Randys review, and what other people in Montreal have told me....I think I got a bad pint of this bitter. I'll try and rectify that by getting another pint of this within the next month or so :-)
