Nelson’s Brewing “Revenge” On cask – pint at The Happy Man in Egham. Served in a Nonic glass.
Appearance: Bright gold. Nice thick white head. Thick sheets of lacing.
Smell: Very little aroma, but a bit of corn/grain smell. Not exactly appealing:
Taste: Nicely bitter. English style bittering hops – simple bitter flavor. Some biscuity malt for balance and a bit of a buttery taste as it warms up toward room temperature.
Mouthfeel: Thin, but right per style with low carbonation.
Overall / Drinkability: Not bad, but nothing special either. Good looking, but that’s about it.
