Pours a dark brown-black, almost opaque, with a medium head. Aroma is typical dry stout qualities, not much there.
Taste is a good, solid, tasty stout flavor. Rich, roasted black patent malt with elements of coffee, just barely sweet. Much tastier than Guinness, reminds me of a Coopers stout. Finish is clean and dry.
Mouthfeel is medium, not nitro'd like a Guinness so similar to more traditional dry stouts. Listed as an oatmeal stout but not quite as heavy as expected from the style. Best offering to date from this new brewery. I often session this one.
