Bottle:

Poured a hazy amber ale with light pink tinge to it in my glass. Two finger rocky cap reduced quickly...modest lacing.

Aroma was weird: The Cranberrys and some spice notes were there and so was the grain but there was an over powering vegital aroma like spoiled celery..weird

Some malty sweeness starts out but is quickly balanced by tart cranberry tones, no hops seem present...sour and overpowered with the spoiled veggie tastes.

I suspect I got a spoiled/over date sample...I will revisit this beer in the winter when I go to Montreal.

Surprisingly drinkable beer with juice. Pinkish tinge to yellow beer, looks better than it sounds. Faint cranberry and other juice aroma. On tart side, but malted down. And that lasts through aftertaste. Good carbonation, somewhat refreshing. Not bad for the style.

It's label made me wanna think noel was a extention of halloween :-).

Ingredients state all essential beer stuff + cranberries. You better like cranberries, because bitter cranberries was all I could get out of this brew.

Lucky me, I love cranberries. Even with this being the case... after a 650 ml bottle, I was fed up with this brew. If you get your hands on this brew, share it with a fellow advocate, I beleive one glass will be a fair amount of cranberry for anyone.

Orange amberish color, my first glass it was clear A Good foamy head, that took its time to dissapeared and let itself slowly die on the glass. Lot of bubbles and carbonization.

Smells like maple of course, you can very smell it, quite nice.

The aromas and flavours of maple are present, at first then followed by hops and malt, unfortunately I would have loved to be more sweet and more maple I guess. The maple taste present, but unbalanced I would say
My second glass when I emptied the bottle is more sweet and the sweetness of maple is more present than my first glass.

Pours a really clear orange/cherry with a larger than expected eggshell head. Very foamy and retains itself. Good solid 1/4" sheet of lace. Smells distinctly of cranberry and cherry. Very estery but in a good way. First the fuzz of the foam meets you and then a wave of fruit from the beer sneaks in behind. Lots of cherry/cranbeery but you can start to see the ginger and cinammon as the beer warms. Sweet yet not that cloying. Finishes with a moderate dryness. Mouthfeel is a little thin but tis is basically a fruit beer. I'm not a fan of most fruit/funky spice beers but this is very drinkable to me. Alcohol is very well hidden for a 7% brew.
